I am one of those motorcycle owners who always takes care of the bikes. I regularly clean and maintain them so they can maintain me whilst I am on a ride. One of the downsides to always cleaning and waxing your bike is having a slick tank. The tank looks good! But it is very very slippery. When doing big lean angles it is quite scary because you do NOT want to slide of the tank in the corner.
That is why I decided to install R&G tank traction grips on my 2003 GSX-R 750.



As you can see the tank grips have been aligned with painters tape so they match on both sides. Also the grips are nearly invisible when looking at them in regular lighting. I also polished the tank prior to installing the grips.
The invisible effect is due to these grips being transparent which allows the white tank to show through. More close ups in the video below:
